  Timelines - 2002
A five metre high landmark sculpture forming the illusion of a Roman Amphora from two specific viewpoints, expanding & changing as the viewer walks around it. Following a thorough public consultation & workshops programme, Adrian developed the design to create a symbolic link between modern Dunstable and its origins as an important centre for trade & travel over 2000 years ago. The Amphora is the first known form of commercial packaging and fittingly the sculpture was funded by Asda Stores as the first piece on the town’s Public Art Heritage Trail.
